Teenage girl dies after being hit by bus outside Ulladulla High School


A teenage girl has died after she was hit by a bus outside Ulladulla High School.(ABC News: Danielle Bonica, File Photo)


A teenage girl has died after she was hit by a bus outside Ulladulla High School this afternoon, just after 3:00pm.

Despite the efforts of emergency services she died at the scene.

Police say the girl was a student at the school, however she has not been formally identified.

The driver of the bus was transported to hospital for mandatory testing and returned a negative breath test result.

Police are currently located outside the school investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Anyone with dashcam footage is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

The NSW Department of Education has been contacted for comment.
