Man charged with murder of another man near Kempsey to face Coffs Harbour Local Court


A 46-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of another man near Kempsey.(ABC File Photo)


A man will face court today charged with murder following the death of another man on the NSW Mid North Coast.

The 46-year-old man, allegedly armed with a firearm, walked out of a home at Euroka near Kempsey just after 8:30pm last night.

He was arrested without incident.

Police were called to the home just after 6:30pm following reports of a man armed with firearm.

A 63-year-old man was found fatally wounded inside.

Police said the men were known to each other.

The 46-year-old man had been refused bail to appear in the Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
