A man in his 40s is being questioned by police after a body was found in a suburban street in Western Australia's south-west region late yesterday.
Police were called to Cleveland Bay Avenue in Eaton, near Bunbury, after neighbours reported a disturbance at around 8.20pm.
When officers arrived, they found the body of a man lying in the street and another man nearby.
"A short distance away, a male person was taken into custody and that person is currently with us in this complex assisting with our inquiries," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"It was a very confronting scene."
The two men were known to each other, police have confirmed.
There are currently no ongoing concerns for community safety.

Major Crime Division have travelled to Eaton, 160km south of Perth, to assist local police with the investigation.
