Heavy police presence as man arrested in Melbourne CBD

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man following an incident in Melbourne's CBD.
Heavily armed police officers, including officers from the Critical Response Unit, swarmed the corner of Flinders Street and William Street.
It is believed the man was driving erratically along Flinders Street about 1.50pm.
Video obtained by 9News shows a silver sedan driving in circles at the intersection of Flinders Street and Swanston Street.
The Critical Incident Response Team and local police arrested the man at the intersection of William Street.
"Victoria Police is responding to an incident at Flinders and William streets in Melbourne CBD and we are asking everyone to avoid the area," a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
A number of CBD streets have been closed.
Traffic closures are at Flinders and King Street, Flinders Street and Market Street, Queensbridge, William Street and Flinders Street.
People have been asked to avoid the area, with some buildings in the area reportedly in lockdown.
The man remains in custody and will be interviewed shortly.
No one has been injured.
