Elderly man critical after being hit by a car on mobility scooter in Sydney

An 84-year old man is fighting for his life after being knocked off his mobility scooter and dragged along the road by a car in western Sydney this morning.
The man, from Bonnyrigg, was crossing Wilson Road, Green Valley, at 7.30am when he was allegedly hit by a Toyota Corolla exiting a roundabout.
He was dragged several metres.
It's believed he fell from the scooter and suffered head injuries.
Passers by called emergency services.
The victim was stabilised at the scene before being rushed to Liverpool Hospital.
He is in a critical condition.
The driver, an 70-year-old woman, was also taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
Traffic is being diverted.
Police are appealing for anybody who has dashcam footage to contact them.
