Three teenagers injured in stabbing at Sydney party

Three people have been injured in a stabbing at a house party in Sydney's west overnight.

Police were called to a home in Northmead where Emily Brinsmead was celebrating her 18th birthday with about 50 friends and family members, after reports of a teenage boy being stabbed.

Police have been told a group of uninvited guests wearing masks gate-crashed the party and began attacking guests.

Officers arrived at the scene to find two teenagers with wounds to their back, and an 18-year-old man with a hand injury.

The teens were taken to Westmead Hospital and are all in a stable condition.

"It was very daunting and very surprising what happened. We still don't know how they got in," Emily's father Mark Brinsmead told 9News.

Police are continuing to investigate the stabbing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
