A man wanted over the killing of a man outside a Queensland pub has been arrested and charged after more than four weeks on the run.

Kye Enright, 21, was taken into custody this afternoon after an alleged pursuit through Logan, south of Brisbane.

He has been charged with the murder of 53-year-old Paul Rock who died in the car park of the Porters Plainland Hotel in the Lockyer Valley on July 1.

Enright has also been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle, armed robbery, and two counts of supplying dangerous drugs.

Officers patrolling Teys Road at Holmview about 1pm saw a man believed to be Enright driving a Toyota Aurion, which then took off at speed.

The vehicle was tracked via Polair to Bayliss Road at Heritage Park, where the man was arrested.
