A man is fighting for life after he became trapped under a 30-tonne boat in a workplace accident on Brisbane's bayside.
Emergency services were called to the Redlands City Marina about 1pm after the 40-foot vessel slipped off its props and fell on a 60-year-old man.
The man, who had been working on the boat, was trapped between the ground and a 240-volt bollard.
Marina staff turned off the electricity to the bollard.
Fire crews stabilised the boat so the man could be assisted by paramedics.
Wayne Parry from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services told 9News the man did not lose consciousness at any time.
"He was quite stoic and realised that he wasn't in a good way but was accepting that he was to give himself to all the people around him to get out of the situation," Mr Parry said.
The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
Police and Workplace Health and Safety officers remained at the scene this afternoon.
