Five youths charged after suspected stolen Jeep involved in Brisbane smash

Four teenage boys and a 12-year-old girl who allegedly rammed 15 cars as they tried to escape police in a stolen 4WD have been charged.
Police said the Jeep 4WD was stolen from a Brisbane home on Sunday and spotted in traffic on Monday afternoon in Petrie, in the city's northern suburbs.
When officers approached the car, the driver tried to escape by driving between two lanes of stopped cars. The car hit about 15 vehicles before coming to a stop.
Five people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 17-year-old Morayfield boy, two 14-year-old boys from Redcliffe and Caboolture, a 14-year-old Rothwell boy and a 12-year-old girl were charged with a range of offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Two were released from custody, while the other three were expected to apply for bail in court today.
