Elderly woman found dead in Vic home

An elderly woman found dead in suspicious circumstances at her Melbourne home was last seen wandering around and disorientated a week before her body was found.

A neighbour found Vicki Ramadan dead at her Sydenhome home in Melbourne's northwest on Saturday morning.

"The exact cause of her death is yet to be determined however it is being treated as suspicious," Victoria Police have said.

The 77-year-old woman was last seen wandering her Marlborough Way street disorientated on March 29 and was taken home by a neighbour, police said.

The woman frequently went to the Watergardens shopping centre and regularly used buses and taxis to travel.

Anyone who saw Ms Ramadan between March 29 and April 6 has been urged to come forward.
