June 13, 2009 08:50am
A TEENAGER is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed several times in a fight last night.
The boy, 15, was stabbed during a fight between two groups in the south-east Melbourne suburb of Springvale.
A 16-year-old girl was also injured after she was hit by a car during the same fight, police said.
The driver of the car, a 34-year-old female, and a 17-year-old boy were both hit in the head with bottles, police said.
An ambulance spokesman said the stabbing victim suffered upper body wounds and was taken straight to the Alfred Hospital where he was reported to be in a stable condition. The three other injured people were taken to a local medical centre.
No charges have been laid, and police are calling for any witnesses to come forward.
