Chirac visits Hariri at the hospital


Former French President Jacques Chirac visited Wednesday Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri at the American hospital in Paris, to check on his health after the leg surgery he underwent following his ski accident.

Premier Hariri also received Wednesday several phone calls from personalities who contacted him to wish him a prompt recovery.

Among them are: former Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser al-Sabah, Saudi Information Minister Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Economy of Curaçao Nasser Al-Hakim, Mrs Aida Rashid Solh on behalf of her husband, former Ministers Adnan Kassar and Salim Warde, as well as many MPs, former MPs and officials.

Hariri had received Tuesday numerous phone calls, from: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al Faisal, head of Saudi intelligence Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz, former Deputy Prime Minister Elias Murr, former minister Mona Afeich, Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Assiri, vice chairman of the higher Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, Patriarch of the Armenian Orthodox Church Aram I Kishishian, Sayyed Muhammad Hassan Al-Amin, Sayyed Ali Al-Amin , as well as several MPs, former MPs and personalities.
