Hunters Hill victim's identity revealed as hunt for killer continues
Woman's body found in Sydney park (ABC News)
Police have released the identity of a Sydney woman whose body was discovered at a Hunter's Hill playground last week.
Investigators are seeking information from the public on the movements of Nicole Cartwright in the hours and days prior to her death.
The 32-year-old's body was discovered by a council worker in Buffalo Creek Reserve at Hunter's Hill on Sydney's lower north shore last week.
Wrapped in an orange blanket, the woman's hands were bound and she is understood to have had a strap around her neck.
Drag marks of up to 30 meters were discovered near the body.
Police say Ms Cartwright lived with her parents at Lansvale and had a wide circle of friends, often spending time in Sydney's CBD, eastern suburbs, and surrounds, and was a frequent user of public transport.
Homicide detectives are still searching for her killer.
More to come.
