Woman fighting for life after Macquarie Park two-car crash

A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after being thrown from a car in a two-vehicle crash at Macquarie Park in Sydney's north-west overnight.

Emergency crews rushed to Lane Cove Road after reports a Honda Accord was T-boned by a Toyota Camry at about 12.40am.

A woman in the Honda was ejected from the car through the passenger window.

The Honda then accidentally ran over the woman and trapped her underneath the vehicle.

Witnesses stopped and helped the woman by lifting the car before paramedics arrived.

The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

A man driving the Honda and another woman in the car were not injured.

Police officer in court accused of injuring motorcyclist in ‘traffic stop crash’

The two men in the Toyota were taken to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have set up a crime scene to establish how the crash occurred.
