Motorbike rider killed in five-vehicle crash in national park

Two other riders were seriously injured following the crash involving two cars and three motorcycles on Sir Bertram Stevens at about 12.30pm on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the scene, about 11km from Sutherland. NSW Ambulance paramedics were unable to save one male motorcycle rider who died at the scene.
Two other riders, were also treated by paramedics and were taken to St George Hospital. One man is in a critical condition and another man is in a serious condition.
Both car drivers, a man and a woman, were not injured and were taken to Sutherland Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command, with assistance from Crash Investigation Unit, established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Traffic is extremely congested in the area as a result of the crash and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
