Girl dies after being shot at Lalor Park in Sydney's west

Police are investigating the shooting death of a six-year-old girl at a house in Sydney's west.

Emergency crews were called to a house on Danny Road in Lalor Park just after 8:00pm on Sunday where they found the child with a gunshot wound to her neck.

A crime scene has been set up and the house has been cordoned off.

Detectives were at the scene on Sunday night and spoke with the child's family.

The girl's name has not yet been released.
