The Australian Lebanese Association, established in 1947, is Australia's first Lebanese Organisation focussed on servicing the community needs, culture and the Australian way of life. The Australian Lebanese Association is a non-for profit association addressing the needs of the Australian Lebanese community at whole.
The Australian Lebanese Association’s focus includes:
Settlement services, Family Support, Domestic Violence, Child Protection,, Community Development and Programs, Tenancy advice and Residential Services, Disabilities, Multicultural Support, Youth Support and Programs, and Liaising with Local Support Group and other network providers.
We are seeking an experienced welfare professional in the Marrickville area, particularly with experience in the Australian Lebanese culture, to address issues e.g. youth and family, aged care, disability, settlement services, justice and other issues related to community needs.
Essentials to be considered, you will possess:
Experience in a welfare role
Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain)
