 AAPF

POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a teenage girl who went missing while walking to school in a country town in northern NSW.

Jessica Alefosio, 14, was last seen about 8.30am (AEST) yesterday in Guyra, north of Armidale, police say.

"Police believe she never attended school," NSW Police said.

She is described as being of white/European appearance, about 175cm tall, chubby, with an olive complexion and long brown hair.

Jessica was wearing navy school pants, a blue polo shirt and blue v-necked top when she disappeared.

Anyone with information about Jessica's whereabouts should contact police.
