A PROVISIONAL truck driver was trapped for about two hours and is feared to have spinal injuries following a crash in western Sydney.
The truck smashed into the back of a street sweeper on James Ruse Dr, North Parramatta near the Old Windsor Rd off ramp about 1.35am last night.
It took the emergency services close to two hours to cut through the truck's front panel and free the man.
The green P-plate driver was rushed to Westmead Hospital with possible spinal injuries.
The driver of the street sweeper was not injured.
Police closed a portion of the westbound lanes of James Ruse Drive while investigating.
