Police seek public help in search for missing elderly man

POLICE are searching for an elderly man missing from his western Sydney nursing home.
Elaiyahamby Nadarajah, 84, was last seen by staff at his nursing home on Albert Street, Strathfield, at about 4pm (AEST) yesterday.
Police say he is not thought to have money, identification or medication with him.
He suffers from a medical condition and is easily disorientated.
Mr Nadarajah is described as being of Indian/Pakistani appearance, 170 to 175cm tall, with a thin build and grey hair.
He is believed to be wearing grey tracksuit pants, a grey fleece jacket, blue T-shirt and blue slippers.
Police rescue officers and SES volunteers have been searching the area.
Anyone who sees Mr Nadarajah is urged to contact police on triple-0.
