Real War Erupts in Jeser Al-Shoghour

Farah News Online: Intense clashes were reported in Somaa in the city of Jeser al-Shoghour in the Idlib Province as Assad’s militias attacked revolutionaries while sweeping the streets of the city. The regime’s militias conducted massive arbitrary arrests in Shabeeba neighbourhood accompanied by heavy armoured units amidst heavy shelling of the residential areas. Skirmishes were reported in all of the central areas of the city. Clashes also reached the town of Ihsem, while dozens of soldiers defected in Kherbet Jooz and in Sermeda.
In the suburbs of Damascus, Assad’s militias and the Fourth Regiment continued their attempts to break into the cities of Madaya, Buqein, and Zabadani from the Eastern Mountains and Takiyya while heavily bombarding the cities. However, Assad’s forces were not able to go through hundreds of revolutionaries who flocked from all over the Qalamoun mountains areas to hold the defence lines. Dozens of families were evacuated to the nearby city of Bloudan.
At least 43 were killed today; most fell in Homs which is still subjected to heavy shelling that led to over 350 deaths and 1600 injuries thus far.
