ASA urges our Australian to increase the pressure on the Assad

 

Farah News Online: The Australian Syrian  Association in Sydney (NSW) urges our Australian government to multiply its effort and stand together with the international community in supporting the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom and democracy.

We call on our government to increase the pressure on the Assad regime by:-Calling for President Bashar Al-Asad to step down immediately.1

1-Calling for immediate and complete cessation of violence

2-Demanding for the imposing of a "humanitarian corridor and safe haven" in Syria, along the borderwith Turkey, 
     3-to provide relief to both the Syrian population and dissident groups opposed to the Assad’s regime

4-Introducing “No fly Zone” to prevent the use of air force by the regime against its people.

5-Establishing a Special International Tribunal to investigate these crimes committed by the Syrian regime and to

bring perpetrators to justice


The public Rally will take place at 11 am, on Sunday 5 Feb. 2012  at Hyde Park in Sydney
