Hariri hopes 2012 will be the year of freedom and justice in Lebanon and the Arab World

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri hoped on Saturday that the year 2012 will be a year of “goodness, blessings, freedom and justice for all, in Lebanon and the Arab World”.

Hariri said during a chat on the social networking service Twitter: “remember what Martyr President Rafik Hariri said: ’I don’t know how to hate’, this is how we should all be, not in Lebanon only but in the entire Arab World”.

He added: “all the divine religions called for love, goodness and peace and denounced wars, killings and hatred, so what are we waiting for? We are peoples filled with emotions and should focus on loving each other”.

Hariri concluded by recommending renouncing hatred, fighting it and ignoring it, and said: “refuse hate, fight hate, ignore hate, don't let hate get to you, kill hate with a smile and a big heart.”
