A MAN wanted for more than six months over a violent aggravated burglary at a house in Melbourne's north has been arrested.
A man was badly injured in the incident at Epping on January 15, and police say a car and two motorcycles were stolen along with a large amount of goods.
Detectives arrested Jack Vaotangi, 31, of Sunshine, in an operation at west suburban Wyndham Vale about 9pm (AEST) yesterday, police said.
He was charged with offences including aggravated burglary, intentionally causing serious injury and theft.
He appeared in an out-of-sessions hearing early today and was remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court later in the day.
Police will allege a victim was seriously assaulted during the aggravated burglary and two motorbikes and a car were stolen.
